Vinny has been filming underwater for over 20
years. With 32 years diving experience, from Antarctica, Galapagos, tropical and
temperate oceans to back home, he is Ireland's most experienced underwater imager.
From Whale shark to Basking shark, Hammerheads and reef shark to whales,
dolphins and other marine species, his digital film archive is building every
year. He continually strives to be the best and was recently featured in a BBC NHU documentary on the Search for Ireland's Giant Turtles. Vinny has won many
awards for natural history including best website and magazine awards.
He wrote, filmed and internet broadcast the Prix
d'Europa award winning Nestwatch 2000 - the story of Jacky and Daw for
RTE/Mooney Goes Wild.
Vinny concentrates on combining film, art and music to
produce interesting underwater experiences... recently of which have received
excellent reviews in both print and online media.
He is marine natural history guide and filmmaker
aboard the
M.V. Atlantic Explorer for Kerry Marine Tours.
